The GKPV Series Hard Sealed Ball Valve is designed for high-temperature,
high-pressure, and abrasive service conditions, where conventional soft-
seated valves cannot perform reliably.
This metal-seated valve provides tight shutoff, excellent wear resistance, and
long operational life in demanding applications such as oil & gas pipelines,
refinery systems, chemical plants, and power generation units.
Its forged steel body, precision-engineered stem, and HVOF-coated sealing
surfaces ensure consistent performance even under cyclic thermal and
mechanical stress.
The valve design combines high mechanical strength, stable actuator mounting,
and a durable sealing structure that maintains integrity through extreme service life.

- Locking Device on Handle Joint – Provides precise open/close positioning and ensures safe operation.
- Mechanical Positioning with Adjustable Stop Screws – Actuator torque is transmitted directly through the stem to the stop block, guaranteeing accurate ball rotation and preventing actuator misalignment.
- Integrated Mounting Flange – Ensures stable actuator installation with no looseness or offset between the support bracket and valve body.
- Double-Key Stem Design – Enables reliable and convenient connection with gearboxes, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric actuators.
- Stem Bushing with Anti-Wear Coating – Prevents stem blowout and provides radial alignment for smooth operation.
- Single Alignment Mark – Machined on the stem and gland to indicate accurate ball position and flow direction.
- Two-Piece Gland with Live-Loaded Springs – Maintains seal integrity while allowing sufficient adjustment clearance. Corrosion-resistant 316SS bolts and nuts with anti-friction coatings and Inconel alloy springs are standard.

- Machined Gland Sleeve – Provides continuous tight connection between stem
and packing chamber, preventing extrusion and maintaining alignment.
- Deep Stuffing Box Design – Fitted with Chesteron 0.125” packing and dual anti-
extrusion rings for reliable long-term sealing.
- Metal Anti-Extrusion Rings – Further reduce packing deformation under high pressure.
- Integral Neck Body Design – Protects the valve during post-weld heat treatment (PWHT).
- Downstream Shoulder and Radiant Fins – Dissipate heat effectively and mark the
heat-band boundary during PWHT.
- Proven Interference-Fit Seat Design – Up to ASME Class 1500 (410SS/HVOF CrC),
and up to Class 3100/4500 (Inconel 718/S&F CrC).
- Enlarged Ball Port – Allows for rapid thermal expansion without exposing seat
surfaces to the medium, extending seat life.

- Matched Ball and Seat Materials – Same substrate and coating to ensure
identical thermal expansion rates and reliable sealing.
- Forged Valve Body – Provides superior pressure resistance and mechanical
strength.
- Extended Packing Area – Facilitates easy packing adjustment and
replacement while maintaining accurate stem alignment.
- Integral Thrust Bearing Stem – With anti-wear coating and clear
open/close markings, supports high axial loads without deformation.
- Precision-Fitted Stem Connection – Engages securely within the
support flange bore for enhanced stability.
- Adjustable Handle – Can be positioned along its length, used
as a T-type handle, or reversed downstream in limited space;
standard maximum length up to 24".
